The Uprooted Teen

Back Story

As my English teacher says, "Back story, back story, back story! Don't just ambush me with a random topic. Give me back story, a reason to listen." So, here is my back story:

I have moved around quite a lot in my short period of time on this earth. I have moved across the country about three times. So, I guess you can say that I know what its like to be uprooted. I know what it is like to come to an entirely new place and be the new kid. More than once, I have been to a new school. I would get comfortable and have new friends, then right when I think things can be normal again, I am uprooted and moved to a different city, county, or state. Don't get me wrong. I do not blame my parents for any of it. Even though I would be upset with them for awhile, I would get over it. Now that I am older I see the good in what moving around can do. I've seen new places and cities. I've met new people and made lifetime friends. Moving can wipe the slate, and give you a chance to start over. Reinvent yourself. Once again, I am older now. Thus, I see things differently now. I view the world in a new perspective.
